Successful lawsuit: Engineer's visa despite initial rejection

The client, who lives in Russia, is a trained engineer specializing in robotic and robotic systems and works in Russia as a computer science and programming teacher. In (December 2023), the client receives a rejection of his application for a job search visa in the form of a national visa. The German Embassy in Moscow cited a discretionary decision regarding the plausibility and seriousness of seeking employment (lack of German language skills and invitations to job interviews) as the reason for the rejection. After filing a lawsuit against the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin in January 2024, the Senol-Baysu law firm reached an agreement with the other party, as a result of which the client receives the sought visa in July 2024. The client received the visa even without knowledge of German due to his existing English language skills, as English is the technical language of his industry.
